Please join us for a reception following Professor Mink's lecture to be held in
the Women's Studies Conference Room (South Hall 4703)
Professor Mink is the author of numerous scholarly books and articles, including
The Wages of Motherhood: Inequality in the Welfare State, 1917-1942; Welfare's
End; Whose Welfare?; and Hostile Environment: The Political Betrayal of Sexually
Harassed Women. Her opinion pieces have appeared in the New York Times and other
leading newspapers. She is a founding member of The Women's Committee of 100,
an organization which fights for welfare justice.
