Lisa Crooms will speak about critical race praxis and the United Nations. Crooms
will focus specifically on the use of intersectionality as a way of marginalizing
women's issues and leaving unexamined the implications of race and gender for
maleness (which remains the unspoken norm for conceptualizing human rights actors
and violations).
