Welcome to the HDIL Home Page!

The UCSB Women's Studies Hull Digital Image Library is an online archive of digitized images available for instructional use by Women's Studies teaching staff.

The images in this library can be downloaded by faculty for the purpose of enhancing lecture material (e.g., through PowerPoint presentations), producing instructional aids such as overheads of images, or creating handouts and other printed teaching materials.

You may access these images in one of two ways:

1. Go to the list of image thumbnails and numbers and scan through the library visually (note that the archive consists of over 800 images, so this is the least efficient approach, but a good way to familiarize yourself with the scope of this site).

2. Use the search engine below to find keyword matches (including course numbers such as WS10 or WS40)

Due to copyright laws, the image pages on this site are password protected and only available to current UCSB Women's Studies teaching staff. Please contact Professor Eileen Boris to obtain your password.

Finally, please be patient with this library, as it is still very much under construction. Please feel free to address comments or suggestions to Nancy Ann Arnold.
